Durai Anand, an owner of the Exter (petrol) variant, shares that he has achieved an mileage of 17 km/L after covering 1,300 km. This mileage was recorded with the AC running continuously. Anand’s driving comprises roughly half highway travel and half city commuting with moderate traffic. On the other hand, Deepak Rai, another Exter owner, reports impressive mileage figures for the CNG variant. Rai attained 33 km/L on the highway without using the AC, and with the AC on, the Exter CNG delivered 30 km/L. When running on petrol, the Exter achieved over 17 km/L on the highway.

Hyundai claims a mileage of 19.4 kmpl for the petrol variant and 27.1 km/kg for the CNG variant of the Exter.
