Triumph Motorcycles India has launched a new Trident 660 at Rs 6.95 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country. This all-new motorcycle will be bought as a CKD unit to India by the company. Also, it is a bit more expensive as compared to its rival Kawasaki Z650 which is priced at Rs 6.18 lakh. The company has already opened the bookings of this motorbike via its official dealerships across the country.
While powering up this motorbike, the company has equipped it with a 660cc, inline-triple engine. This engine can easily generate 81hp and 64Nm of peak torque. It is further mated with a 6-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quick shifter as an accessory.
Side by side, there are two riding modes in this motorbike Road and Rain along with adjustable traction control. Adding more bread to the butter, the company has equipped it with a fully digital instrument cluster with a Bluetooth module that allows turn-by-turn navigation, GoPro control with phone and music control.
Moreover, there are several attention-grabbing colour scheme options with this motorbike including Silver Ice / Diablo Red, Matt Jet Black / Matt Silver Ice, Crystal White and Black Sapphire. Also, the company is initially providing 2 year unlimited mileage warranty with a 16,000 km service interval.
