Finally, Hyundai has officially revealed the details of its upcoming SUV named Alcazar for India. First of all, Hyundai Alcazar will be sharing the underpinning of Creta where it almost looks very similar to it. Also, this SUV will be available in 6 and 7 seating capacity where there will be captain seats in the middle row for the latter version. Also, there will be 3-rows with black/brown upholster similar to that with the dashboard.
Hyundai Alcazar is longer as compared to Creta by 30mm along with a longer wheelbase of 2,760mm. This SUV will also run on big 18-inch alloy wheels. Side by side, the company has updated Alcazar with a suspension system as well where there is a hydraulic rebound stopper in the front strut.
In terms of powertrains, Alcazar is equipped with a 2.0-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine can easily generate 157bhp and 192 Nm of torque whereas the diesel engine can churn out 113bhp and 250Nm of torque. The two engines are together available with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission.
Coming to the exterior of Hyundai Alcazar, there are LED headlamps, unique tail lamp clusters and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. On the other hand, its interior features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with BlueLink, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, Ventilated seats, 360-degree camera, Panoramic sunroof, Rotary drive mode selector (Eco / City / Sport), Rear centre console and armrest (6-seater), Seatback tray with cup and mobile holder and Assist grip handle.
