The new-generation Hyundai i20 hatchback is now open for bookings with the dealers. It is now confirmed that we can have this car officially available somewhere in the month of November which is near to this Diwali. This car was continuously seen in the spied pictures from last few months but now the wait is over as it will hit the Indian showrooms very soon.
The company has maintained the sporty looks of the car and giving more premium feel to it as compared to its existing model. The new Hyundai i20 is given with a large cascading grille flanked by chunky headlamps with LED DRLs along with more attractive fog lamps and sculpted bonnet.
Coming to its specifications, the all-new generation of i20 will going to grab the attention of buyers through a larger 10.25-inch touch screen infotainment system which is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Moreover, this car has received a BlueLink connected car technology.
Talking about the exteriors of the new i20 then there are sharp edges and creases all around the body, strong belt and shark fin antenna that polishes its side profile, blacked out wing mirrors and chrome window line are well equipped. There is a tailgate with back treatment and wrap around LED taillamps connected through a light strip at the back of the car.
To power up the car, the company has given 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel motors engine which sits below the bonnet. The turbo-petrol will be exclusively offered with a DCT automatic gearbox whereas the manual gearbox is available across all the model of the new i20.
The Hyundai Motors may bring out this car with an 8-speaker Bose sound system set up to make it a bit more premium. Not only this, but other features like air purifier with virus protection, leather-wrapped steering wheel, a wireless charger and a digital instrument console might be noticed in its official launch.
