Firstly, the car can be owned with an exchange bonus of Rs 80,000, Side by side, the company is also providing a 3-year/unlimited-kilometre maintenance package worth Rs 48,000 for free with additional corporate benefits of up to Rs 46,000. Talking about the premium variant of Kia Carnival, then one can get the rear-seat entertainment package worth Rs 36,560 for no extra cost. These offers together comprise an amount just near to Rs 2.10 lakh.
Not only this, but the Kia has arranged some of the financing schemes for its customer. The most attracting one is the Low EMI scheme, where the Carnival can be taken to the home with a monthly instalment of as low as Rs 767 for the first six months of the tenure. On the other hand, a 90-day EMI holiday scheme includes the beginning of EMI after the 90 days purchase of the car. Along with this, the other flexible EMI scheme includes 50% lower cost EMI for the first 3 months of every year of the loan tenure.
Coming to the Kia Carnival, then this car has been made available in three variants – Premium, Prestige and Limousine where the seating capacity is up to 9 people. This car is considerably costlier than its rival Toyota Innova Crysta which is currently high in demand as the best MPV. But the duo can compete with each other because Kia Carnival is more powerful and is better equipped as compared to its rival.
Kia Carnival further has a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine which is enough to produce 200hp and 440 Nm of torque. This engine is further paired with an 8-speed torque-converter automatic transmission. The ARAI claimed mileage of the car is rated at 13.9kpl.
The company is looking forward to grabbing a big share in India car line-up where is all set to launch Kia Sonet on September 18. Kia Sonet will be a tough competitor for Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300 and Ford EcoSport.
