Toyota Yaris Facelift 2020 – All Details

Toyota Yaris has been available in many countries across the globe in a different format and been a great success for the company. In India, we only get to see its sedan version which is loved by so many people. Toyota has now decided to give a facelift to its Yaris and already released a teased image while it will make a debut on 25th July 2020.

The shape of the Toyota Yaris facelift is not so much different than the Yaris sedan. But still, there are some things which catch our eyes like large trapezoidal air dam, redesigned fog lamp housing, new LED headlamps and LED DRLs.

The upcoming facelifted version of Yaris got new appealing dual-tone alloy wheels. The rear end is yet to be seen as it is not revealed by the company yet. However, it will be going to be more stylish from rear view too. The dual-tone black and beige theme of Toyota Yaris is not likely to be changed. A slightly tweaked infotainment system may be presented by Toyota in this car while we are not expecting many changes in the layout of the dashboard.

The touchscreen infotainment system, tyre pressure monitoring, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, rain-sensing wipers, cruise control etc will continue to feature in Yaris. Connected car tech has also now become USP for so many vehicles of this segment and we are expecting this feature to be introduced in Yaris too.

The Yaris which is available in our country comes with BS6 compliant 1.5-litre cylinder petrol engine which is capable of producing 107hp and 140Nm of torque. There are two transmission options in this car – a six-speed manual and seven-speed CVT auto. This stylish sedan is going to be launched in the Philippines tomorrow but it will be available for Indian customers in 2021.
