2026 is going to be one exciting year for Hyundai in India as it plans on launching at least 3 mass-market vehicles. While the mid-size SUV space is still ruled by the super-successful Hyundai Creta, the brand is turning its focus towards refreshing and expanding its compact SUV and sedan line-up. Some of the upcoming Hyundai Cars coming our way include the Hyundai Exter Facelift, Hyundai Verna Facelift, and the all-new Hyundai Bayon.
Here’s a closer look at what buyers can find.
Expected to get a mid-life facelift around June 2026, the Exter would still position itself against compact SUVs like the Tata Punch. This includes newer bumpers, new headlamp and tail lamp signatures, fresh alloy wheel designs, along with a host of other elements; the facelift too is expected to arrive at a price band of Rs. 5.50-9.80 lakh (ex-showroom)
Inside, a bigger infotainment unit and a fully digital instrument cluster are likely to help fuel the tech appeal of the Hyundai. The Exter is expected to carry forward the current petrol and CNG engine options while offering possibly more AMT combinations too. The update will help Hyundai cement its position in the entry-level SUV space priced below Rs. 10 lakh.

The current generation Verna introduced in 2023 will get its mid-cycle update in May 2026. Price estimate should be approximately Rs. 12 lakh to Rs. 18 lakh It could also get a more aggressive front fascia incorporating Hyundai’s international design language, updated LED lighting, and fresh alloy wheels.
Inside will probably be a duo of integrated 12.3-inch displays along with Hyundai’s connected car tech. Engine options are likely to remain the same as before-naturally aspirated and turbo petrol-but of course, there should be additions in terms of features here n there for Verna to stay competitive in the premium sedan segment.

Hyundai is set to launch the Bayon SUV in India by around October 2026, which could cost Rs. 8 lakh – Rs. 14 lakh (expected). Slotted above the Venue, the Bayon will cater to buyers looking for a sportier crossover styling and an equipment-heavy bundle.
It is likely to use an all-new platform that will also underpin the next-gen i20, and be powered by a new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine as well. Modern connected features, some advanced safety tech, along with bold styling, will help set it apart from the swollen compact SUV segment.

Hyundai will now have three launches in various high-demand segments below Rs. 15 lakh to consolidate its space. From beginner-level SUV buyers to premium sedan enthusiasts, 2026 promises a lot for Hyundai fans in India.
